Art n Beat presents a live musical extravaganza featuring the Music legends Kavita Krishnamurthy and her husband Dr. L Balasubrmaniam to celebrate India’s 71st Independence Day! Trained in classical music,

Kavita Krishnamurthy, a melodious singer, has recorded more than 18,000 songs in 16 languages in a career span of 30 years. She is also the recipient of four Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Awards, including three consecutive awards in the period 1994–1996, and the Padmashri which she received in 2005.

Her husband, Pandit Dr. Lakshminarayana Subramaniam  is an acclaimed Indian violinist, composer and conductor, trained in the classical Carnatic music tradition and Western classical music, and renowned for his virtuoso playing techniques and compositions in orchestral fusion. Subramaniam has amassed over 200 recordings to his credit, releasing several solo albums, recording collaborations with several musicians and also has won several awards.

The couple is bringing this event together to give a special Tribute to Sridevi. A Part of the net proceeds will be donated to SIF.
