Mobile Veterinary Clinic

With the Support of Ankush, the Mobile Veterinary clinic has been operation in Kadapa of Andhra Pradesh from December 2017. The Project employs 3 Full time Staff: Veterinary Doctor, Para vet, Driver cum assistant. The Mobile Clinic was very useful for the farmers in terms of door step delivery of the Veterinary services the livestock. The MVC works 6 days in a week. It covers the 18 Villages every week. The frequent visits and the same place and time ease the farmers to know when the Veterinary services are available. The Doctor is also available on the phone for the emergency services. Daily report through Mobile App with the GPS tracking facility has been tracked by the Animal Husbandry Department.

The only concern for the MVC is the availability of the medicine in the regular intervals in the required quantities. The Medicines are supplied by the Department in limited quantity. After the diagnosis the doctors will give the available medicine and then writes the Prescription for the required medicine. The services of the MVC are applauded by the all sections of farmers. The Vehicle is well maintained with the regular service and Insurance duly covered.
