Rural Health Management
Our rural health management initiative focuses on making primary health care easily accessible to people as well as livestock in economically backward farming community.
Bringing primary healthcare to remote villages of India by holding health camps, providing care for livestock through mobile clinics and distributing nutrition supplements and medicines are just some of our activities under this initiative
Rural Health Camps
Women and children constitute nearly 2/3rds of the population of India. This segment is biologically, psychologically and culturally vulnerable to a host of diseases. But most of the ill health is predictable and preventable through timely information, education and effective communication. As part of our Rural health Improvement Initiative, SIF partnered with Dr. Manjusha Ghumre, a gynecologist from Pune, to conduct Health camps in Yavatmal distict in Maharashtra. Read more about the Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the health camps.
